Where to Stay: Hilton Millenium Seoul

My cab driver gave me the thumbs up when I told him where to take me from the airport. "Hilton Millenium best Seoul hotel!" he exclaimed. While I don't have any basis for comparison here, my stay at the Hilton is going great. As a HHonors Gold, I was upgraded to the Executive Club floor to a corner room (#1908) with two walls of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city. The staff have been more than hospitable, greeting me with "good morning, sir" or "good afternoon, sir" followed my a gracious bow. I had forgotten a binder and the lady at the business centre kindly lent me one to use for the duration of my stay. I needed more hangars and they were delivered to my room in less than 5 minutes. My new favourite hotel "gadget" is the mirror in the bathroom here -- although it fogs up from the shower steam, there is a 2x2 foot space, right where my head is that is never covered in condensation. No rubbing, blowing or wiping required! I guess it doesn't take much to impress me. The location is adequate near Seoul Station, although the hotel is on a hill that does require some exercise to climb! 395, 5-ga, Namdaemun-ro in the Chung-gu district of Seoul.
