Elite Status Requalification

A new year, a big zero next to "Elite Qualifying Miles." As a full-time MBA student, it may be a bit of a stretch to qualify for United 1K status in 2006. Drew managed to sneak in as a US Airways (America West) Silver this year -- and barely write any entries for NakedSky. In 2006, I'm looking forward to spending my upgrades: a few mileage runs across the country, a wedding or two, a few interview trips, a 13-day tour of Southeast Asia, and the proverbial visit to Europe. That's solid.

Yeah...I think I scraped through by the skin of my teeth...whatever that means. Here's hoping for at least silver...married life does not bode well for mileage runs!!

Looks like I'll make it this year, thanks to the Southeast Asia trip and a couple vacations in Europe and the Mediterranean. Whew! That was close.
