Do you ever just get the itches to fly, fly, fly?

Well, I haven't been in an airplane since the end of March, and it's starting to get to me! I was supposed to fly to Los Angeles for work today. The client cancelled the meeting, and thus cancelled my trip. But I began to think...

... since our company only buys non-refundable tickets, they were use-it-or-lose-it. A quick check of the airline timetable: I could standby for the later 9PM flight to LAX tonight and hop on a 6AM return Wednesday morning. I could be back in the office and at my desk by 10AM, with more miles in the bank!

(Un)fortunately, while I'm crazy... I'm not that crazy. Or am I?
